Washington State CMHC’s started receiving Meaningful Use dollars in October 2011 under the State administered Medicaid EHR Incentive program. Over $10 Million of Medicaid incentive benefits have been approved by the State of Washington so far, and a number of Xpio Health clients were among the first to receive nearly $500,000. The EHR Incentive Program dollars will assist community mental health centers in implementing Electronic Health Record Systems, e-Prescription systems, health information exchanges, and a number of specific clinical measures designed to improve the quality and connectivity of healthcare across the nation.
